Chapter 31 Sienna Something was definitely wrong with Jerina , or right with her , which made it wrong .
After all , Sienna had been helping her get ready for dinner for almost an hour , and she hadnt called her one name , hit her , or told her she was doing something wrong .
For a normal person , that would not be a big deal .

What was there to say ? As soon as Jenna stopped laughing , she finished putting up her hair and did a few more tasks to make sure Jenna was ready for dinner .

She did look very pretty in the dress , but Sienna didnt think she could do much to redeem herself after the impression Kaden had gotten from her the night before .

She didnt want to go to dinner anyway .
Shed had enough embarrassment the night before and was certain there would be more the next night at the dance .

Sienna was torn between whether or not to go out to the woods for a run , do some training , or read a book off of the shelf .
Since she hadnt gotten a chance to read in ages , she went over and plucked an interesting- looking historical novel from the shelf and found a spot in the closet on the floor away from the door .
She doubted shed get to finish the whole book , but just having the clunce to read for a bit was heavenly .
There was no way to know for sure when strange Jenna would disappear , but at least shed have an hour or two .
Thank you , Kaden , she whispered as she opened the book to the first page and lost herself in the story .
Kaden Mingling was not Kadens favorite thing to do , but as the Alpha , hed had plenty of opportunities over the years to hone his skills .
Hed become quite good at talking about nothing and pretending that he cared about what other people were talking about when it was usually a story he couldnt relate to or about something that mattered little to him .
